Website Development
The ultimate goal of any business is to get a profit and that is what we always keep in mind when developing web-sites. That means we focus on key factors that help to make your website attractive to Clients in all possible ways.
The key to success is to make a website that would stand out from the crowd while it should combine both appealing design and good usability characteristics.
We believe that design should be unique and distinctive so that users remember your website once and for all. Speaking about usability we mean that website should be easy to navigate so that users can find what they're looking for quickly and efficiently, pages should download quickly with information easy to retrieve.
From our multiyear experience we can offer the following types of websites:
Corporate website - site used to provide information about a business, organization, or service
E-commerce website – site aimed to sell products or services
Promotional website – made to advertise a specific product or service
Web portal - presents information from diverse sources in a unified way. Apart from the standard search engine feature, web portals offer such services as e-mail, news, stock prices, information, databases and entertainment.
Website offering a specific service – search engines, e-mail services, on-line forums, blogs, photo and video sharing websites, online directories of businesses.
Informational website – most governmental, educational and non-profit institutions have an informational site
Personal website - websites about an individual or a small group that contains information or any content that the individual wishes to include.
As the borders between various types of websites are very vague they often overlap, sometimes to a large degree. Thus there are corporate sites that include promotional pages, personal website may include forums, etc. Our Clients just need to make up their mind on what final product they wish to have and we will come up with the idea of how to represent it in the best way. We also provide each our website with a CMS that offers wide possibilities for modifying site information.
Search Engine Optimization
In business time is money and a website is an instrument that’s selling 24/7. However few users go beyond the 1st page of search results. That’s why it’s vitally important to stay ahead of your competitors and so web promotion is among key factors to make your website work for you.
SEO suggests the following algorithm:
1. Website audit – evaluating whether a website corresponds to search engines’ requirements, usability check, drawing up a plan of necessary adjustments and corrections.
2. Internal website optimization and additional work according to the plan - working out semantic core of the website – target keywords that will lead users to your website; editing pages’ programme code; optimization and building up meta tags; optimization and writing website’s content; developing internal cross linking system.
3. External website optimization - indexing website with search engines; website promotion on the Internet; work with external links.
Search engines optimization is a rather time-consuming process and therefore requires a certain amount of time. First results will can be seen after about a month when your website’s ranking will improve. As rule maximum effect is achieved after 3-4 months.
With us there are 2 options: whether once-only website promotion or constant monitoring of web-site ranking and maintaining high results. Our criterion when estimating the work carried out is achievement of the goal set by the Client. Constant maintaining search engine ranking positions presupposes monthly payments.
For our SEO services we conclude a contract that includes as well providing our Clients with a monthly report of the work accomplished and results achieved.
Banners
Banner is a form of internet advertising promoting something or informing about something. It is constructed from an image (GIF, JPEG, PNG), JavaScript program or multimedia object employing technologies such as Java, Shockwave or Flash, often including animation, sound, or video to maximize the effect of presence. Commonly is it a link that leads to a website or page containing detailed information about the product advertised.
Banners are aimed at the following goals:
1. Advertising goods or services
2. Supporting advertising campaigns
3. Building up company or brand image (banners contribute to recognition of trademarks, form an association between a product and a trademark)
4. Informing and focusing user’s attention (banners are sometimes involved into website’s navigational system)
Banner types: 1. Static 2. Animated 3. Interactive
Static banners contain graphics and text and are delivered in a one-screen image. Usually they are .jpg or .gif files. Such banners are very quick and rather cheap to design, displayed by all standard browsers and least annoying for internet users. However they are very easily overlooked.
Animated banners use a small amount of animation to deliver their message, they’re usually .gif files. Their advantage is that they have a widely accepted format, low file size, and most users can view it.
Interactive banners flow smoothly like a movie, they are as a rule .swf files. These ads can include sound, rollover buttons, checkboxes, play-pause buttons, close buttons and so on. They’re often interactive, i.e. react based on user action. Due to being more eye-catching flash banners have higher click through rate and deliver a really professional appearance. However they require users to have Flash player installed so a back-up file should be provided for those whose browsers are not able to read flash. Interactive banners usually burden pages making them slower to load and therefore sometimes are not accepted by publishers. Another disadvantage is that they’re more expensive to design.
CD Presentations
Statistically such advertizing rather easy finds its way to potential clients and delivers necessary information. While 80 % of printed materials like leaflets, booklets, flyers, etc. are thrown to waste bin immediately while CD presentations are usually watched trough. The reason is that people are always more interested in watching multimedia ads rather than looking through piles of printed materials.
CD presentation enables your potential Clients and Partners to learn more about your Company whereas proper cover design will assist in creating a positive Company image. It helps to inform about the enterprise’s products with the help of the newest technologies. Such type of multimedia can be watched on any PC and doesn’t require Internet connection, it can contain thousands of text pages, a big amount of audio and video files and still is it of a pocket size.
CD disks may be used as auxiliary material at exhibitions or at Company’s presentations. They’re a good informational support for Clients, Partners and dealers and of great help for new employees.
Visual Identity
Visual identity is the sum of all the visual elements used by which a company or an organization is recognized and distinguished from its competitors. The reasons why visual identity has become so vitally important nowadays are:
1. People know that the organization exists and remember its name at the right time.
2. It helps the Clients easily identify new products with a certain Company.
3. It enhances employee’s identification with the organization
4. Dealers have no difficulties designing distant affiliates and advertising campaigns.
The overall impression of an organization is projected through logo, colour palette, font/s, an image library (such as illustration and/or photography) and beyond. We develop brand style guides to provide your Company with visibility and recognizability. Based on brand book guidelines can be designed: letter blanks, business cards (personal, corporate, envelopes, folders, etc.
Logotypes
Logotype is a graphic mark used by enterprises, organizations, and individuals to visually identify themselves. Logos can be either purely graphic (icons/symbols/emblems) or include the name of an organization (logotype/wordmark).
Today logo is an image embodying an organization as well as a separate area of graphic design that is responsible for representing companies’ brands or corporate identity and fostering customer recognition, it differentiates the company’s product from the others similar to is.
A good logo design is clear and distinctive. Simple logos are easily recognized, memorable and effective. It meets such requirements as memorability (having seen it once clients remember it one and for all), originality (an ingenious idea means you got half the job done), associativity (sometimes you can judge a book by its cover), expressiveness (external attractiveness makes you presuppose unconsciously inner beauty), functionality (let design work for you), and pithiness (brevity is the soul of wit).
Business Cards
Business card is a very important part of visual identity and to make it stand out from the crowd people resort to different means like using unusual materials, unordinary fonts, unique designs.
All in all business card information can be divided into verbal and non-verbal the latter including:
- Colour – all of them have certain settled associations which we percept unconsciously, colour meanings may vary in different countries though
- Paper – the quality of paper you print your business cards on speaks for itself. Unusual paper texture is a wonderful opportunity to draw attention to your card
- Fonts – may be very individual and eye-catching, make sure your fonts are easy to read though
- Uniqueness – your business card should stand out from a pile of the others so make sure there’s something special about it
Apart from common business cards made of paper there are also extraordinary ones made from plastic, metal, rubber, and even real wood. Some special features that can be added to make your card convey information about you or your company are using embossing, gilded edges, adding a piece of fluff, a ribbon, or a dried flower, making it (partly) transparent, using metallic ink or making holes in it, combining different paper textures, etc.
Print Design
