The present Belarusian State Circus was built in 1958 on the place of the former building that was burnt down during the WW II. It has a very long history which can be traced back to the end of the 19th century. Nowadays the Circus organizes guest-performances of international circus programmes in the arena of the State Belarusian Circus as well as tours of the first Belarusian group “Stars of Belarus” around the Far and the Near foreign countries.
We wanted to create a real circus atmosphere with all its fun and mystery. With pictures of the Circus’s building and various stunt-oriented performers including acrobats, clowns, trained animals, trapeze acts, hoopers, and jugglers exposed on front page. Sparkling lights were created with the help of flash programming to add even more magic. The website has two completely different versions in Russian and English, each of them created by another designer with his own style.
