Slider Company is present on Belarusian market since 2007. It specializes in selling desktop PCs, laptops, netbooks, printers, scanners, ink & toner, and office equipment. Slider is an official partner and representative in the Republic of Belarus of many world famous brands – Logitech, LG, Samsung, Genius, and SVEN. They are HP official retail partner, official dealer of ASUS laptops and monitors and D-link network equipment.
The website was supposed to become a digital version of the original shop in the city centre so that a client could examine and buy any item without leaving home. The problem we faced was that most websites selling PCs and office equipment look very alike. We wanted to develop something that would stand out and be eye-catching because of its modern and unique design. Still it had to meet company’s brand book requirements. Another client’s wish was for the website to be very functional, helping visitors to accomplish many of their tasks be it buying a specific item or just browsing for digital tech news or product reviews. There had to be some specialties to make the website favourably differ from the others, it was to be attached to 1C business programme as well as to support user login.
